"I'm a Veterinarian and I specialize in treating exotic animals.
My presentation is titled Anesthesia's Effect on Vasomotion
San Diego, CA, 2017 Vascular Symposium
'Anesthesia Has a Detrimental Effect on Vasomotion'.
- Decreased heart rate and contractability lead to decreased vasomotion? (yes and no)
- The post-operative effect is decreased healing and decreased recovery rates with infant/geriatric in particular
Because of this, I use Bemer therapy on animals before and after surgery to help maintain blood profusion in tissues and organs and vasomotion in the extremities reducing stress from the procedure.
Bemer helps me put them under anesthesia quicker, use less anesthesia, and to recover quicker.
It increases the quality and level of medicines I can use to treat these animals and helps them heal much faster."
